Project Based Learning (PBL)
Elements of PBL:

Significant Content: Using the subject or certain concepts, students gain knowledge and skills

21st Century Competencies: Students learn qualities necessary for today's workforce. These include, problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

In-Depth Inquiry: A rigorous process involving asking questions, using resources, and developing answers.

Driving Question: An open-ended question that students can understand and that captures their attention.

Need To Know: In order to answer the Driving Question, students must see the need to research, understand, and be interested in the topic at hand.

Voice and Choice: Students are allowed to make choices about their projects, how they work, and how they use their time. This is teacher guided.

Critique and Revision: Students can give/recieve feedback on the quality of their work from their classmates or their teacher. This allows them to create the best project possible.

Public Audience: The student(s) present their project in front of an audience.
